How does it Work? 
First of all you don't need power or cables. This stylish outdoor weather proof WiFi door bell camera is provided with a flat surface mounting bracket & easy to install for anyone capable of using screw driver. No cables or power needed so that's the hard part done. Mount the bracket wherever you feel the door bell needs to be and remember the camera lens is a wide angle. It ould be at or near your front door or if the property is fenced, perhaps on the outer side of the fence or gate entry.  As mentioned, provided you receive a semi decent WiFi signal at the proposed camera location,  fantastic that's all you need. Otherwise a WiFi extender will boost signal strength if needed. Everything from that point is straight-forward.

Once the tamper proof mounting bracket is installed preventing unauthorised camera access, slot the camera into the bracket, tighten and the job is complete. Mounting the wireless camera to a metal surface is not recommended.  Metal can interfere with a Wireless transmission so always best to check the device at the proposed location before mounting. 

The Video Door Bell and Intercom is built into the camera housing along with the camera and motion sensor.  The video door chime has been factory paired to the camera.   

Does the Wireless Door-Bell support Google Assistant?
Yes Google Home, Google Next Hub or Alexa. Even if don't have Smart Home Google assistant, use our free iOS and Android Professional Tuya App.  The Free App supports full remote door-bell camera access including all setting functions, live view, remote video, audio Intercom and recording playback from anywhere in the world, including other WiFi locations or 4G mobile network.  

Tuya App
Available free to all iOS and Android users or scan our QR code.  Hidden Camera Surveillance will provide our customers only with detailed screenshot instructions to make the setup even easier.  Please note your home or office WiFi router must be set to 2.4Ghz as 5Ghz is not supported. Most WiFi router are set to 2.4Ghz anyway but altering the frequency won't affect your internet or computer etc.  If not sure then please ask for local technical advice as this is a simple PC alteration and nothing more.

Battery Status
Battery power and charging status can be instantly checked directly from the Tuya App.

Can I share the Doorbell with my friend of neighbour? 
Sure no problem and again no cost. Simply ask your trusted friend or relative to download the Tuya App then share a QR code.  

Two Way Audio
When a visitor presses the door bell button, the wireless receiver inside your home or office will sound a chime.  Provided the App notification function is enabled, no matter where you happen to be which could be, possibly another state or country, you receive an instant phone App Push Alert.  Tap the alert to open a two way audio and video conversation.  The visitor will naturally assume you are home unless you say otherwise.  

If the device is set to record when the door bell is pressed or motion detection is app enabled, the camera will video & audio record for a preset duration and save that recording to the concealed internal SD card memory or remotely to Cloud backup if enabled. 

What if someone stands near the camera?
This device has a built in PIR motion sensor so when any person lingers for a certain time near the wireless door bell, this is the trigger to not just video and audio record but instantly alert you by way of a phone App push notification.  Notifications may be armed or disarmed directly from the App.

Night Vision
Another door bell camera function is night vision. When the door bell is pressed or movement is detected the built in no glow IR illuminators allow this device to both see and record even in complete darkness up to 10m.  

I have a Setup problem
Worse case scenario, you encountered some form of setup issue and not sure what to do. Remove the camera from the Tuya App then Press and hold the device reset button for 10 seconds. This takes the Wire Free WiFi Video Door Bell Camera back to factory default settings, ready to start again with no need to reinstall the App. 

Do I need an SD card to Record?
This wireless WiFi video doorbell camera supports an optional micro SD card (class 10 or better) up to 128GB.  We recommend you order an SD card from our online store checkout along with the camera.  We will pre-install the memory card into the camera before express post delivery.  In doing so we also test the device and leave a short video and audio demo recording for you to see.

Customers are most welcome to supply their own SD card but we do recommend a FAT32 format of the card before use with this device.
