The Stereo Music Speaker 1080P HD WiFi Spy Camera is amazing. If you have any concerns about introducing something new into a home or office, a Nursing Home perhaps, what could be better? Its fully functional as a music speaker (sounds brilliant by the way) and an internal rechargeable lithium battery keeps the speaker and WiFi functional for 10 hours or more although may also be connected to a power point for longer term use. If power is switched off for any reason, it will still function on battery power anyway.

Can this Speaker Camera Record?
That's the main purpose of this device because the music speaker is mainly a disguise. The speaker conceals an optional micro SD memory card up to 128GB. When motion is detected it will record for certain preset times until motion ceases. It then saves those events to the internal memory card. Continuous or Scheduled recording are both App supported as well.

In some cases customer may prefer to bypass an SD card and use Cloud recording instead. Please note this camera App will offer a free limited trial Cloud service but after that time customers need to decide whether to a pay a small monthly or annual fee for this service. Cloud backup is not in any way affiliated with Hidden Camera Surveiillance. It's just an option for those who may prefer remote backup rather than SD card recording.

Scheduled recording is a handy App function in the sense that an authorised user may set the camera recording to arm and disarm at times of choice. For instance, the user may prefer that motion detection recording is only enabled between the hours of 5pm and 7am. At all other times, no matter often movement is detected, it won't record.

How do I playback Video & Audio Recordings?
It's rather easy and there are several means. As mentioned, each time motion is detected which could be up to 10m+ from the camera, it will record from 1-5 minutes so if there is continual movement of say 30 minutes then it will record all 30 minutes anyway. To remotely access the camera recordings, login to the device from your password protected App, touch the playback icon and see a list of motion detection events, all time and date stamped to the minute and second.

So from anywhere (even 4G) not only is it possible to view the camera live and listen in, users may play any selected recording. If any event is needed, download that video event to your phone memory so it won't be lost but can be shared or saved. When the SD memory card is full, the App allows for the user to select Loop or Recycle Recording or STOP recording when full. If Loop Recording is selected, when the SD card is full it will auto overwrite from the earliest recording date. The larger the memory card the more recording it can store before being recycled.

Another option, remove the SD card from the camera and with a SD card reader, conect to PC or MAC USB. Most free Video AVI players such as VLC or Windows Media Player will play video and audio recordings in real time.

What is a Motion Alert?
This 1080P Music Speaker Hidden Camera supports App enabled or disabled motion push alerts. Similar to a txt but in this case the App triggers a phone alert or chime. A push alert is free and an instant "heads up" the camera is detecting motion. At this point the camera is recording anyway although you decide whether to remote access the camera at this time or not.

What if I don't have WiFi?
To access this camera remotely, the camera must be connected to WiFi and you must know the WiFi router password. If you like the idea of the camera but don't have WiFi or no need for remote access, this camera also supports P2P mode. P2P basically means this spy camera can communicate directly with your phone App provided you are within 10-20m of the camera.

In this regard users may view and set the camera to carry out certain recording tasks without the need for WiFi or Internet. Without WiFi users have no remote access but DO have local access to the camera and recordings.
