How Recording Works

To start using your wall clock security camera, simply insert a Class 10 or higher micro SD card into the side memory slot and power on the device. Upon startup, a configuration file is automatically created on the micro SD card. Opening this file on your computer allows you to customize your device settings:

• Resolution Settings: Choose between 1080p, 720p, or 480p recording. While 1080p offers maximum high-definition detail, selecting 720p reduces memory consumption by half, and 480p quadruples the storage capacity before loop recording begins.

• Automatic Overwrite: You don't need to worry about running out of space—the system features loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest files when the card is full.

• Time & Date Stamping: Every recorded video features an accurate, embedded timestamp for clear verification when viewed on a PC or Mac.

Configuring Motion Detection & Settings

You can customize camera behaviors by opening the configuration file on your computer using a standard USB SD card reader:

• Motion Recording Duration: By default, the camera records for 3 minutes whenever motion is detected. If movement continues, it automatically starts a new 3-minute clip. You can adjust this duration anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes.

• Adjustable Sensitivity: Tailor motion detection across four levels (Highest, High, Medium, Low). Setting sensitivity to Low prevents small pets from triggering false alarms while ensuring human activity is accurately logged.

• Loop Control: Turn loop recording on or off according to your preference.
