Wireless Solar Metal Probe Vehicle Sensor kit allows vehicle detection whilst ignoring animals and anything non-metallic using a buried magnetic probe under or alongside the driveway to detect a disturbance in the earth’s magnetic field as the vehicle passes.

This new product allows vehicle detection while ignoring animals and anything non-metallic using a buried magnetic probe under or alongside the driveway to detect a disturbance in the earth’s magnetic field as the vehicle passes.

There are 5 main components to the new kit: A magnetic probe, a ‘switch-link’ communicator, a solar panel, backup battery and a base receiver. It’s possible to mix and match sensor types. For example you could have a magnetic probe sensor on one zone and a standard beam-set on another. Maximum wireless operating range from the communicator to Base Receiver is typically 800m. It can be extended with an optional HighGain antenna.

The Base receiver can support 2–4 devices, a second Magnetic Vehicle Probe, a GateSense kit, a standard Beam-set or customer service button – you can mix devices. Two-way Radio Supervision and On-board Diagnostics (displayed on Base Receiver) are features alarm installers routinely expect on wireless equipment – this unique feature we never seen in other gate alert yet. These wireless Alarms are designed to operate in sub-zero temperatures as reliably as the penetrating heat of the Australian outback.
