Pro Radar Car Alarm
Most cars have a car alarm. However, we're seeing a dramatic crime increase with regard to break and enters, robbery, assault, home invasions with car-key and vehicle theft. The Pro Radar Car Alarm doesn't replace your car alarm but rather ads to it. Using a RADAR sensing mode, it detects anyone "loitering" near your vehicle for more than 10 seconds. Should that occur, rather than waiting for a break in, a 1-minute 120dB siren is sounded. This unit has an internal battery and isn't connected to a car battery.
Standard car alarms only activate after a forced entry meaning the damage is already done. In contrast, our Pro Car Alarm uses constant "Radar" to sense movement surrounding the car, triggering alarm BEFORE the attempted break-in. This is an advanced theft deterrent or added protection against potential threat. Why consider our Pro Radar Car Alarm when I already have an alarm?
Whilst most vehicles already have a factory-installed alarm, our radar-based car alarm provides that added layer of proactive protection and security. Any vehicle parked on a street, driveway, carport or a boat is an open target to theft or wilful damage.
Pro Radar Car Alarm uses radar detection to sense nearby prolonged movement and when encountered, triggers an audio alarm. This audio alarm acts as a theft deterrent. The Alarm is triggers inside the car or vessel. The thief or vandal will hear it and in most cases will deter any further access or damage upon the car. Creating noise during before a potential act is NOT want the thief expected.
To this point the vehicle or boat hasn't been touched but Radar senses that person lurking about longer than needed. A 1 minute Alarm is not doing any harm nor causing any neighbour issues but to a would be thief, perhaps there are easier targets than this particular vehicle. Furthermore, Pro Radar Car Alarm is easy to use with no professional installation required.
How does Pro Radar Car Alarm detect people?
This device uses a radar motion sensor (not infrared) to detect static or continuous movement outside the car up to 8 meters away and through glass. If a person is loitering or hanging around your vehicle more than 10 seconds, this unusual movement in close proximity triggers a 120dB loud Siren for 1 minute. It then auto switches off and rearms.
Any potential crim will hear the audio alarm even if the car hasn't yet been tampered with which is a huge theft deterrent. Often the alarm is unexpected so even to a dumb foolish thief contemplating a break-in, hopefully he/she gets the hint to move on. Ideal for high rise underground car parks often subject to entry, damage and theft, even if personal belongings stored inside the car.
How does it work?
As the photos depict, any vehicle 12V cigarette lighter adapter will power or charge the device internal battery so it’s always ready in an instant. A Cigarette lighter adapter is a handy positioning point but it could potentially be mounted anywhere. Pro Radar Alarm has its own internal long term battery anyway so its not relying upon any external battery power. The alarm is armed and disarmed with a wireless remote control. Other than vehicle 12/24V charging it also supports USB charging.
The motion sensing radar has a 120 degree field of view so the trajectory or FOV can be altered to suit user requirements. Pro Car Alarm doesn’t need to be connected to a vehicle cigarette lighter adapter, it’s just a convenience otherwise placed anywhere.
