Long Range AA Battery Driveway Alarm

The indoor base receiver plugs into a 240V power point and sounds a volume adjustable chime or melody the moment it receives a wireless signal from 1-4 sensors and from a distance up to 800m. The receiver also displays a blinking LED to precisely show which sensor triggered motion. Each zone has a selectable audio chime with up to 35 volume adjustable selections, including a dog bark.

Whenever a person or vehicles approaches your property gate or boundary, the base receiver melody tone becomes an instant heads up alert. The base receiver can be easily moved from one room to another or switched off. The 4Ch base receiver audio may also be muted if desired. The system adopts advanced wireless transmission technology (FSK+FHSS) to alleviate interference from other wireless devices.

Our Long-Range AA battery powered gate & driveway alert isn’t for larger properties only but ideal in town and city residential homes too. If you need Solar or battery powered WiFi Security Cameras or 4G CCTV cameras, we have those devices as well. However, as we see daily, uncontrolled youths are roaming streets by night often in stolen cars and breaking into houses, even when occupied. They creep about looking for an open garage, window or door but when spooked will often scatter. The key is advanced warning.

Our wireless perimeter alert system is an advanced "heads up" early warning enabling indoor residents to take any necessary steps to protect themselves, car, home and belongings.  In other words, get the hell off my property.  Soon to be released is this same system albeit WiFi enabled. no matter where you are, a mobile phone motion alert is received. Long Range Motion Detection
The AA battery powered motion sensor is weatherproof and detects moving people or vehicles up to 15 meters. The detection angle is approx. 15 degrees field of view. The advanced motion detection chip and angle reduces false alerts from leaves, small animals, sunlight, wind and sudden temperature changes. 2 adjustable sensitivities (Low=10m; High=15m) which is ideal for driveways, walking paths, yards, garages, gates, pool fences and more.

Each motion sensor is powered by 3 x AA Energizer type batteries designed for long term use up to 1 year or more depending on sensitivity and the number of activations. Rechargeable AA batteries are another option. Not all motion sensors are AA battery powered. We do have similar solar powered sensors as well so just preference. Using AA batteries, the sensor/s are not dependent on sunlight to recharge the internal lithium battery. Wireless sensor transmission range?
Up to 800m can be achieved depending on terrain or obstacles. A clear a line of sight is ideal but not essential. Obstacles between the transmitter and base receiver can in some circumstances, interrupt wireless signal distance but in most cases, altering the base receiver or repositioning the motion sensor will remedy.

We recommend position testing the wireless reception before mounting the sensor. Each sensor is rubber sealed dust-proof and completely weatherproof so ideal in any environment. As the sensors are AA battery powered rather than Solar Powered, the sensors can be placed anywhere including indoors, a garage, shed, even a mail box.

Motion detection range?
This high precision wireless driveway alarm system features a low-rate false alert with adjustable sensitivity. Wireless alert distance from the sensor to the base receiver is up to 800m. The sensor mounting height ought to be about 1m above ground level. It can be mounted higher but tilted slightly toward the ground.

In terms of sensing a motor vehicle at a driveway or gate entry point, try lowering the sensor to vehicle exhaust height which emits heat and instantly triggers the motion sensor. Do NOT to aim the solar sensor toward the sun or horizon as the sensor needs to have a ground point of reference. Aiming the sensor at the sun will shorten its life span and may affect long term sensitivity. The wireless driveway and gate alarm kit is ideal for driveways, gates, walking paths and entry or exit points.

Is this system expandable?
The wireless driveway alarm system includes one solar motion sensor and one 4Ch base receiver. These kits can be expanded to include up to 4 solar motion sensors and/or multi base receivers for complete property coverage. With 5 adjustable volume levels and up to 35 optional chime melodies, know exactly which zone has been breached.

Additional motion sensors or base receiver can be ordered from our website checkout. Please note there are no base receiver or motion sensor relay inputs or outputs. In other words, 3rd party external devices can’t be interfaced with this device. Is the motion sensor weatherproof?
The motion sensor is IP65 rated dust-proof and weatherproof designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Ideal for homes, yards, gates, garages, sheds, fuel depots, unattended machinery or anywhere motion is likely to be occur. The 4 zone base receiver is not weatherproof and must not be subject to water or moisture.

Is the kit easy to install myself?
Anyone with a screwdriver or a cordless drill can easily attach the AA or solar motion sensor on a wall, post, or any other stable object. We don’t recommend mounting the motion sensor to a tree trunk or branch as wind movement can potentially cause the motion sensor to false trigger. A stable secure mounting position is recommended.

We also recommend the sensor be angled down slightly toward the ground. The motion sensor needs a “point of reference”. Mounting screws and brackets are provided with each kit. One base receiver can accommodate up to 4 motion sensors although additional base receivers can be added to enlarge reception.

How to Arm the system
Each kit is supplied with a 4CH base receiver and a single motion sensor. If extra AA motion sensors or base receiver is needed, call or email our office sales@hiddencamera.com.au

The motion sensor is pre-programmed so nothing more to do. If additional motion sensors are required, we will program them into the receiver ready to go although it’s easy to DIY as well or we can assist by phone or email.

In terms of instructions which some can find difficult to understand, Hidden Camera Surveillance provides customers with our own English manual making setup and changes that much easier.

For testing purposes, simply wave your hand in front of the senor to trigger the base receiver alert or chime. Provided a chime is received, this will be the perfect sensor mounting location.

If not happy with the chime or melody, there are 35 different selections from which to choose. On the side of the receiver are 2 buttons. The lower button when pressed changes the chime or melody. The upper button alters the volume level.

A motion sensitivity switch is located behind the AA batteries.
