Hidden Camera Surveillance 9” colour heavy duty AHD Truck & Bus monitor is significantly better than most. Ideal for cars, buses, trucks, forklifts, agricultural vehicles, heavy machinery, tractors, trailers, caravans, semi-trailers, horse floats and so much more. When the vehicle ignition or accessories is switched on/off so too will the reversing camera kit.

AHD mobile IR rear view colour cameras are double the resolution of standard 600TVL reversing cameras. Please note HCS also offers Dual Split Screen and Quad view AHD Cabled and Wireless Reversing Camera Systems (some with SD card recording) and various monitor sizes ranging from 5-9”. This monitor includes a “parking guideline” function not standard or not available with others.  

Not all rear view cameras and monitors are the same.  Our 10G rated IP69K mobile cameras and monitors are solid state meaning unlike others, won’t rattle to bits due to constant vibration. We also offer 2 year fault replacement warranty.

 Our monitors are Ultra-High definition 1024 x 600 (not low resolution 800 x 480 pixels) a significant difference between the two types and the same applies to our cameras.  Most other analogue mobile cameras are IP69 and 600 TV Lines whereas our cameras are a higher grade CCD 1200TVL rated IP69K.  

Is IP69K waterproof?

Products that carry the IP69K rating are ideal for facilities where hygiene and cleanliness are critical, as they are proven to be durable and resistant against water, chemicals, high pressure, and high temperatures associated with demanding cleaning and OH&S measures.  This camera is 10G shockproof and weatherproof. 

Is this reversing camera system easy to install?

Other than mounting a few brackets its straightforward although the monitor must be connected to vehicle power, normally at the vehicle fuse box.  We recommend using a licensed auto electrician to install your kit.  HCS takes no responsibility for any damage caused by unlicenced or non-qualified installation.

Our vehicle reverse camera kits have a voltage overload and reverse polarity protection to ensure hardware isn’t damaged by fitting mistakes. The metal alloy U bracket (pictured) allows for the monitor to be dash or roof mounted whilst the bracket tilt allows for that perfect frontal view. Stylish front panel touch button control with built-in auto light sensing, this monitor will auto dim by night to avoid glare.  A wireless remote control is included.

Are extra cameras available?

If an extra camera be required (1 x AHD camera and cable included) additional cameras and/or cables are available. Extra cables are available in 5,10,15 or 20m lengths (including caravan and trailer couplings) along with a wide variety of camera and monitor options.

Please note Hidden Camera Surveillance also supplies Dual Camera Split Screen and Quad View AHD monitors kits (some with recording) and in various sizes from 5-10”.  This 9” LCD AHD Kit includes the monitor plus a single 1200TVL AHD IR camera and 15M robust connection cable. LCD colour monitors support selectable resolution from 720P, 960P and 1080P CVBS & AHD signals.

How many cameras does this monitor support?

The monitor support 2 cameras but it’s not a split screen monitor. View camera 1 or camera 2 full screen or switch between either camera.  One camera and cable are provided with kit and additional cameras are optionally available.  

Parking Guidelines

Parking guidelines is another feature standard with all of our AHD monitors. This function isn’t optional, it’s standard and ought to be with any monitor nowadays. Rear view guidelines are a simple monitor setting switched on/off at the touch of a button.

This 9” colour TFT LCD vehicle monitor & camera kit consists of an ultra-high definition colour LCD screen offering significantly higher visual resolution compared to others. There’s no point having an Ultra-High definition 1024 x 600 monitor if the camera/s are lower quality or not to the same monitor standard. 

The monitor has various functions including a reverse camera mirror function or normal view and image flip.  The mirror function basically means when looking at the camera on the monitor screen, its tantamount to looking at the view from a rear view mirror. Some like it and some don’t but the option is always available to select either way.

Din Cables

4 Pin Din Cables as pictured below are vital to the kit. Pictured below is the actual cable depicting the male and female 4 Pin connectors. One end will plug into the monitor with a secure screw fitting and at the opposite end fixes to the camera connector as pictured below. Please note our DIN cables are designed for AHD systems with a more solid and shielded inner copper core.

These cables are available in various lengths ranging from 5,10,15 and 20M.  If you have a particular cable preference (cables can be joined) call our office before ordering. Din cables are robust, weatherproof, and designed for Analogue HD not necessarily standard low resolution cameras.

This monitor image depicts the reversing or backup guidelines. The “Image Flip” demonstrates a mirror like view and a standard non-mirror or real front and rear camera view. Both the guidelines and Image flip function can be switch on/off.
