Description
This 7” colour Quad AHD monitor is superior to most. Cameras 1, 2, 3 & 4 are simultaneously displayed on a quad or 4 way view as pictured below.  However, the driver has the option to switch between any camera full screen, a 2 way split screen or a quad view abd various other viewing selections as depicted below.  

Furthermore, any camera can be relayed to display full screen when reverse gear is selected.  When Drive is selected all 4 cameras will auto resume the quad view.  The same applies to vehicle indicators. When the left or right indicator is selected, this triggers the appropriate camera to display full screen. The point is the monitor supports those functions, but the decision to any is your choice.

Ideal for cars, buses, trucks, forklifts, agricultural machinery, cranes etc.  When the vehicle ignition or accessories is switched on/off so too will the mobile camera kit.

Please note Hidden Camera Surveillance offers a range of mobile reversing camera kits and made to order systems as well.  Some of our more advanced Quad Camera Systems include SD card recording in various monitor sizes from 5-10”. This particular 4 camera mobile system does NOT record.  It consists of a 7” AHD monitor with sunshade, 4 x AHD front, rear and sideview cameras plus 4 x 15M robust Din connection plug & play cables. This colour LCD HD monitor offers selectable resolutions from 720P, 960P and 1080P CVBS & AHD signals.

It’s important to understand that not all cameras and monitors are the same, particularly when used in mobile situations.  Our 10G rated IP69K cameras and monitors are solid state meaning unlike others, they won’t fail due to constant mobile vibration, and we offer a 2 year fault replacement warranty.

Is this reversing camera system easy to install?

Other than mounting a few brackets its very much straight forward although you do need to connect the monitor to vehicle power. We recommend using a licensed auto electrician to install your rear view system as warranty does not apply to improper or non authorized installation.

Why are there two camera types?

Pictured below are 4 x AHD mobile cameras supplied with this 781HD-QUAD camera kit. All cameras are IP69K rated including IR night vision and all support mirror & flip views. Camera kits are in some ways different to special request reversing system orders.

• The two rectangular shaped cameras (model CCD-662) are designed for reverse or forward view.
• The two round shaped cameras (CCD-680) with a flat mounting base are sideview cameras. These cameras can be mounted forward or backward, and the round lens manually rotated in any direction to obtain that perfect frontal or back facing side view.

Is IP69K waterproof?

Products that carry the IP69K rating are ideal for facilities where hygiene and cleanliness are critical, as they are proven to be durable and resistant against water, chemicals, high pressure, and high temperatures associated with demanding cleaning and OH&S measures.  This camera is 10G shockproof and weatherproof.

This 7” colour TFT LCD vehicle quad monitor & camera kit consists of an ultra-high definition colour LCD screen offering significantly higher visual resolution by comparison. Similar monitors are just 800 x 480 pixels and not to the same standard as this monitor. 

Furthermore, to appreciate the visual quality, our 1024 x 600 AHD monitor demands superior quality AHD cameras & cables. The supplied AHD 4PIN connector cables (various lengths available) connect each camera to the monitor. The monitor connects to vehicle power (12V to 36V) which in turn powers each vehicle camera. Trigger wires with adjustable time delay inputs, enable indicators or reverse gear to trigger an AV channel full screen. 

This 4 way view reverse camera kit has voltage overload and reverse polarity protection to ensure the hardware isn’t damaged by fitting mistakes. The metal alloy U bracket (pictured) allows for the monitor to be dash or roof mounted whilst the bracket tilt allows for that perfect visual view. Stylish front panel touch button control with built-in auto light sensing, this monitor will auto dim by night to avoid glare.

4 Pin Din Cables

4 Pin Din Cables as pictured below are vital to the kit. Pictured below is the actual cable depicting the male and female 4 Pin connectors.  One end will plug into the monitor lead with a secure screw fitting and at the opposite end of the same cable, this fixes to the camera connector as pictured below.

These cables are available in various lengths ranging from 5,10,15 and 20M.  If you have a particular cable preference (cables can be joined) call our office before ordering. Din cables are robust, weatherproof, and designed for Analogue HD not necessarily standard low resolution cameras.

This monitor image depicts the reversing or backup guidelines. The “Image Flip” demonstrates a mirror like view and a standard non-mirror or real front and rear camera view. Both the guidelines and Image flip function can be switch on/off.
