This kit is a high performance wireless Gate Alarm system, which sounds an adjustable volume audio alert in your home if a visitor drives or walks through its detection beam. Using a proper photo-electric beam (similar to a lazer beam) it's more immune to false alarms.  Never miss a customer or intruder again.

Please note other than the 4 channel base receiver, this kit contains just the one beam set (includes the 2 x beams and solar panels) however, if more beam sets are required, please order additional beam sets here. Extra beam sets support this Wireless gate Alert 4 Zone, not the Long Range XR-2500 system which is slightly different.

Pictured below is the 4 zone Wireless Gate Alert Kit including the Base Receiver.  A beam set is included with each order and that consists of the Transmitter, Emitter and each device is solar powered.  The Transmitter and Emitter are aligned at the gate entrance and spanned up to 35m apart.

The beam-set may be installed as a home ‘driveway alarm’ or across wider areas protecting Fuel Tanks or damp buildings such as Sheds, Garages etc.

The detection beam can span up to 35m of open ground. The Standard Gate Alarm operating range from the Beam-set to Base Receiver is typically between 300-800m.  Range may be affected by obstacles but can extend as far as 1km in ideal conditions.

Two-way Radio Supervision and On-board Diagnostics (displayed on Base Receiver) are features alarm installers routinely expect on wireless equipment – this unique feature we've never seen in other gate alerts.

This high performance wireless driveway alarm that gives an “early warning” alert in your home whenever a visitor passes through its detection beam. It uses a proper point-to-point beam, making it far more immune to false alarms than PIR based systems. Never miss a customer or intruder again. The beam-set may be installed as a driveway alarm, or over a much wider span (up to 35m) to protect the likes of implement sheds or fuel tanks.

Wireless range between the Beam-set and indoor Base Receiver is typically 300-500m through a number of obstacles such as several house walls, trees and a small shed (for example). However, If your property has dense native bush or “earth” blocking the radio signal path, we suggest our XR-2500m Extra Long Range model.

Base Receiver:
Whenever any enrolled beam-set beam is interrupted the Gate Alert base receiver sounds an audio alarm. The alarm sound is different for each activated Beam-set(s) or zone.

The Four-zone Receiver has an adjustable volume control.  In the event a battery from the Beam-set needs to be re-charged quickly, it can be plugged into this battery connector.  Batteries should normally not require charging, if any low battery warning is experienced, please check your solar panels for any cable faults, positioning or soiling first then contact us for further assistance.

The Four-zone Receiver has adjustable volume and tone, as well as the ability to mute volumes and switch off output connections. Each Base Receiver comes with its own antenna and is powered with a supplied 12V AC adaptor.

The alert “beeping sequence” differs depending on the zone that has been activated. External devices (such as an alarm panel, 4G unit or strobe lights) can be interfaced with the Base Receiver via a 10-way terminal block located on the rear panel of the enclosure, these devices can also be switched on and off using the same “mute” buttons.

At a glance you can see which zones have their beeping muted and which zones have the external device connected to them deactivated.
An example of this function: You have a 4G text messaging device connected to the Base Receiver and you want zone 1 beeping but not texting and every other zone texting but not beeping (muted). This can be set up within about 5 seconds by simple button presses. Easy to follow instructions supplied.

BEAM-SET & Solar Panels
The beam-set is made up of two small Beam Units, installed directly opposite each other. An infra-red beam is transmitted from one and received by the other. Whenever the beam is interrupted for a minimum time by a solid object, one beam-unit sends a wireless signal to the Base Receiver, alerting to the arrival of a person or vehicle. The Beam-set is powered by internal rechargeable batteries which are kept charged via small mountable solar panels.
