Desk Clock WiFi ULTRA Long Battery Spy Camera
New Table Clock ULTRA Long Battery Standby WiFi Spy Camera includes No Glow IR night vision. This is a real desk clock with a built in concealed colour pinhole HD camera plus audio. Many of our WiFi Hidden Cameras are battery and/or mains powered however, the rechargable lithium batteries in this hidden clock camera take things to a whole new level.
Depending on how often the camera is motion recording and or remotely phone accessed, the lithium rechargable batteries can power this hidden spy camera anywhere from 6 months to 1 year on just one charge. How you ask? By auto entering into a “sleep mode” when not recording. It only wakes when motion is detected which conserves battery power. Customers can also receive notifications whenever motion is detected.

Description
This is our new ultra-long battery standby WiFi clock camera no glow IR hidden spy camera. No need for a remote control because all camera functions are controlled directly through your mobile phone App. The concealed pinhole lens is so small it can’t be detected.
Please note this table clock hidden camera will display the time and date as pictured below, however to conserve battery power, the time and date is not illuminated constantly. It will show for 30 seconds or so and then disappear. A button on top of the clock when touched illuminates the time and date for a short time only. The point is some customers like to have the clock display the time continuously as we do have WiFi Spy Clock Cameras that do just that. Other hidden cameras are also battery or mains powered but will not have the capacity to function on battery power alone, unlike our new model Desk Clock WiFi ULTRA Long Battery Spy Camera.
Built in WiFi allows authorised users only to remotely access this hidden camera anytime and from anywhere both securely and discreetly. To remote view the camera from a location away from the camera, by phone connect to another WiFi hotspot and if not available, no problem 3/4G is also fine. Download our free iPhone or Android App to view and/or record live video with audio in constant real time or motion detection mode. Our new Ultra Long Standby WiFi Desk Clock Spy Camera even has no glow IR night vision plus live audio. No Glow IR means the camera can see very well even in complete darkness but to anyone looking at the clock, they will not see any red IR glow from emanating from the desk clock.
How difficult is it to use I'm not good at Hi tech stuff?
It's a reasonable question and one asked by many. To out your mind at ease, I think that most of us are savvy enough to download a mobile phone App. If not then perhaps this camera isn't for you but let's assume that yes no problem, I can do that. Great, that's the main issue. I'm also assuming that where you end up deciding to place this device, there is WiFi available and you know the WiFi password? Excellent we're nearly there.
At Hidden Camera Surveillance, we don't leave our customers in tears with no means of contact or support, unlike others. Customers can always call our office for support however, we provide a more "user friendly" manual. I say that because this isn't one of those convoluted, poorly written and difficult to understand manual. At HCS we personally write our product user manuals for our customers only. We show pictured step by step mobile screen shots with easy to understand wording. Following the screenshots makes the setup much easier.
Is this a fully functional desk clock or a dummy clock?
This Clock WI-Fi security spy camera looks exactly like a normal desk clock which of course keeps correct time and date, however, it's also a high-quality HD1080P motion activated security spy camera with live streaming 24/7 live video & audio. This HD spy camera has an Ultra-long 365 days battery standby with up 5 meter No Glow IR night vision. The hidden built-in motion sensor allows the camera to silently and secretly record whenever motion is detected which is then saved to a concealed micro SD memory card up to 64GB.
Set to high resolution video recording it will use about 24MB/ minute. With a 64GB SD card, this is about 1.4GB of memory use per hour of recording. Therefore, a 64GB micro SD memory card can store up to 45 hours of video before it becomes full. Even when the Ultra-Long Standby WiFi Desk Clock Spy Camera memory card is full, the authorised user has the option to stop recording when full or loop record meaning memory card overwrite recommencing from the earliest recording date. In LOOP recording mode, you always have the last 45 hours or more of video recording available to view or save.
Clocks are common in homes and offices, so another desk clock certainly won’t look out of place and it’s a fully functional LED Desk clock. With a massive battery standby time up to 12 months from one charge, this makes the perfect surveillance security camera without the limitation of powered or standard battery-operated cameras. Whilst the clock can be exposed for all to see, it can of course be hidden or concealed if preferred.
It's fundamentally important to understand that our WiFi HD Ultra Long standby Clock Hidden Camera also displays the correct time. However, the time display is on a timer. in other words, after 1 minute the LED will disappear from the screen which conserves battery power. If you need to see the time, just touch a button on top of the clock and the time LED will appear and after 1 minute auto switch off again so I can't be left on permanently.
If you prefer the time and date to permanently illuminate, see our other WiFi Spy Clock Cameras which display the time 24/7 but other clock spy cams are mainly powered (we provide a power connection plug) rather than being battery powered. Infact most desk or table clock hidden camera support both battery and power and with this particular model, the Ultra high capacity batteries offer significantly longer use on just battery power alone.

What’s the difference between a DVR & WiFi Spy Camera?
There is a fundamental difference between our ultra-long standby WiFi desk clock spy camera and a similar albeit cheaper DVR spy camera. HCS has a range of DVR Spy cameras as well and they do work great, often preferred by those not so technically inclined or not too interested in the remote access.
To briefly explain, a DVR type hidden camera (say a typical clock radio) will be supplied with a mini wireless push button remote control to arm and disarm motion or constant recording. The wireless remote control enables the camera to be switched on/off and stop/start recording but not much more. DVR Spy cameras are not quite as advanced as our WiFi Hidden Cameras.
To view or playback DVR spy camera recordings, remove the SD card from the camera or connect the actual clock to PC USB to replay those video clips. Our ultra-long standby no glow IR WiFi desk clock spy camera on the other hand supports anywhere from a 16GB to 64GB micro SD memory card albeit with remote mobile phone viewing and playback. The memory card can be removed from the camera and replayed on PC too but often not necessary. 1080P HD WiFi spy cameras will in most cases allow the password protected user/s the select recording resolution and motion recording duration etc although DVR Spy cameras in most instances have fewer options.
WiFi Ultra long standby HD 1080P table clock hidden camera requires the user to download a free iPhone or Android App. The user may view the camera live from anywhere and/or share with other password authorised users. Users have the option to select recording quality and duration and motion alerts etc. When the memory card is full, the clock spy camera will auto overwrite from the earliest recording date. Recording at a slightly lower resolution means faster remote access and faster download.
Sometimes the question is raised "can non authorised people" see a WiFi Hidden Camera online and would that person have remote access to the camera as well? It's important to understand that only YOU have access to this camera. First of all you must have the App and you must have a user name and password which can be changed at any time. Those non authorised won't be able to see the camera by any other means.
Tell me more
Our WiFi super long standby clock spy camera has a range of recording options including Scheduled recording, Constant Recording or Motion Detection recording not to mention motion triggered mobile phone push alerts.
Customers can live view the camera directly from their App linked smart phone to live view and listen in. In fact, this hidden camera supports two way conversation if desired. Live viewing can at times be slow depending on network speed. This isn’t a camera fault as the same applies to most wireless devices, including mobile phones. Network speed and camera settings will play a role in how fast or slow the live view and playback recording will be. Higher resolution uses more data so remotely processing that data can be slower compared to lower resolution.
For that reason, if using an optional SD memory card, the camera will record audio and video in real time. To view the actual SD card recording in real time, sometimes it’s necessary to download that motion activated video clip locally or remotely and save the recording to phone or PC or playback directly from the camera memory. Downloading and saving means no lag in playback.
An SD memory card isn’t essential if the user only needs to live view now and then. If the user isn't live viewing and motion is detected then of course the camera won't record. Users can only view or record directly to mobile phone memory when actively live viewing. An SD card slotted into the WiFi clock spy camera means it will record to SD card memory regardless of whether you are live viewing or not. The spy camera doesn't necessarily have to be connected to a WiFi or wireless network either.
In other words, it’s not necessary to be live viewing the camera to record. If WiFi is switched off or the camera moved to another non WiFi location, it will still record as normal even with no Internet. If the hidden clock spy camera isn’t connected to WiFi it will still record as normal but means you won’t have remote access.

How does motion detection recording work?
The App allows the authorised user/s (remote access can be shared) to select motion detection on or off. If this feature is armed, then each time the camera detects motion up 6m away, it will record in real time for whatever duration set which could be a few seconds or minutes (it’s your choice) including audio. This is commonly referred to as ALERT recording. It also allows for searching recordings by calendar, time, and date or by alerts. If motion continues beyond the set recording duration, the extra-long standby WiFi clock hidden spy camera will continue to record until motion ceases.
Furthermore, if desired and with the camera in WiFi mode user/s can opt to receive mobile phone motion push alerts. By clicking on the alert, locally or remotely playback that recording without the need to search.
If Constant Recording is preferred over motion detection recording, this feature will constantly record when armed and stop recording when disarmed as you choose. Constant recording is a much larger data file so locally or remotely downloading that file could be slow. To view constant recording files, best to switch the camera off, remove the SD card and connect it into PC USB using an SD card reader.
This HD hidden camera is battery powered so constant recording is a constant battery power drain too. If constant recording is preferred, it’s not really any issue as the clock spy cam may also be connected to power which in turn charges the battery.
This WiFi clock hidden camera will record whilst being charged but when set to motion detection recording, auto enter “sleep mode” to conserves battery power. The more often the camera records, the longer the recording duration, frequently remote accessing the camera, the faster it will use battery power, however anyway you look at it, the battery capacity is amazing. Authorised users can also elect to receive motion push alerts when battery power is low, including live battery power status or when motion is detected.
Can other see this spy camera too?
It’s a question often asked and rightly so. In short, the answer is no. When entering a shop, home, warehouse, or office, often your phone will depict several wireless routers within immediate range. Other than your personal router, all other routers are private and can’t be accessed for security reasons obviously, hence the password access.
In this regard, when the camera is switched on, after a minute or so, you will see a UID number appear in the mobile phone WiFi settings. The UID does NOT refer to a camera or anything of that nature.
For example, the UID may look like TCAM-27593Hy49. To any other person with a mobile phone or PC, for all intents and purposes the UID number could belong to a neighbour’s router but clicking on the UID won’t do anything. Only App authorised users are permitted access and beyond that a password is also required. Authorised user must have the correct registered App so no need for concern.
