Hidden Camera Surveillance new release WiFi spy camera glasses now has an all round black frame (not available in any other style) but the lens is clear and just like reading glasses.  Our WiFi reading glasses spy camera support various functions including motion detection, constant recording, high quality audio and motion push alerts just to name a few.

As mentioned, WiFi Spy Camera reading glasses supports both WiFi remote access and local LAN or P2P mode. P2P or Peer to Peer basically means live mobile phone local local viewing regardless of WiFi, similar to blue tooth. However, P2P means you must be within a 20m short range to the camera. P2P is also all App password protected with local access to all camera settings. Select your preferred recording options and when ready, switch to WiFi mode.  In other words you have the option to select which access mode is desired.  

Local LAN allows the authorised App user to alter camera settings, set Constant, Motion Detection or Scheduled recording and live view with audio. Our spy camera reading glasses supports an optional removable micro SD memory card up to 128GB which is so well hidden you won't believe it.  SD card AVI camera recordings can be accessed from your phone App, downloaded and/or saved to PC or mobile phone memory either locally or remotely.

If the concealed micro memory card is removed (device must be switched off)  a supplied USB SD card reader can play recordings to PC or MAC. In other words there are various means of recording and selecting recording settings including the option to alter camera recording resolution.  

• P2P mode (camera to phone direct)
• WiFi mode live viewing from anywhere in the world. 

If WiFi mode is selected, you must have the WiFi password.  The App will prompt you to enter that password if remote access is desired.

P2P mode on the other hand doesn’t require a router, just a simple camera access code. The glasses lens is clear and looks real enough but with no magnification and light weight.

Pictured below is the reading glasses arm.  In some cases there may be slight picture variations for discretionary purposes. When the arm is folded back the SD memory card slides deep into the cavity where it's very well hidden.

How long does the battery last?
A question often asked so there are certain factors to take into account. If the camera is simply recording to the internal memory card, expect between 60-90 minutes on one full battery charge. If on the other hand the camera is being frequently switched on/off or wirelessly accessed, then yes this will consume battery power faster. 

Surroundings, temperature, recording scene, remote access and camera settings all play a role in battery working duration so in some circumstances, the battery may last only 30 minutes or so before needing a recharge but can be 1-2 hours from one charge as well.  

Once depleted, the non removable battery recharge takes about 80 minutes. To achieve the longest battery life, avoid switching the camera on/off if possible and basically allow the camera to constantly record without wireless access. This isn't a camera fault it's just being realistic. Taking everything into account and depending on individual circumstances, our hidden spy camera reading glasses can also function whilst being charged but of course one wouldn't necessarily wear the glasses whilst charging. On the other hand, if the glasses were on charge somewhere, it's still a WiFi spy camera anyway you look at it. Another power option is to connect the WiFi spy glasses to an external 5V battery powerbank for longer camera powering duration.

Can others see my Camera online?
From an authorised user point view, don’t be concerned about other WiFi users being able to see the spy camera online, that won’t happen. Only those App authorised and password protected user/s may see the camera live in P2P and/or WiFi mode. The camera WiFi UID doesn't make any reference to any hidden camera being online but rather a series of meaningless numbers and letters which to any other WiFi person is just another neighbours WiFi.  

Can I record what I see on a computer screen?
It's a question often asked but to put this into perspective, the simple answer yes and no. In terms of live streaming, the camera resolution is auto lowered to allow for a smoother stream. However, recording at a higher 1080P level means the recording is significantly higher than live streaming. For that reason, often the best practice is record to the internal memory card, remove the memory card when needed and review the HD recordings on a PC or MAC. 

Now you are see the video recordings at it's highest recorded level which again is selectable from 1080P to 720P or 480.   

Other factors to consider include the monitor size, monitor lighting, lettering size, external lighting, head movement if being worn, distance etc.  There isn't a definitive answer as one camera doesn't necessarily fit all. There will be circumstances where the PC monitor text and images can be read clearly and at other times not so.  

Is Cloud Recording Supported?
yes Cloud recording it yet another function of our Hidden Camera WiFi reading glasses.  Most customers prefer to use a class 10 or better micro SD memory card up to 128GB. If set to constant or motion recording and depending on the set resolution, it will use about 1GB of memory per hour.  When the SD card is full the device will enter into Loop or Recycle recording mode to auto over write from the earliest recording date first.

However, unlike other devices of this nature, this spy camera does support the option to use Cloud recording. There is an option to test the Cloud recording free fro a limited time otherwise there may be a small fee for the service but Cloud has nothing to do with this business.  Cloud is an optional manufacturer service and we take no responsibility as the use of Cloud is entirely at the customers discretion.
