Provided WiFi is available to the camera and you know the router WiFi password, then you have complete remote access to the camera and recordings from anywhere in the world but only to those authorised by you, not to any outsider.  The mobile phone App supports both iOS and Android. The spy camera glasses frame design may change at times but otherwise appear to be normal reading glasses. Call us for more information if required.  

Our WiFi Spy Camera reading glasses (clear lens) supports WiFi remote access and local LAN or P2P mode. P2P or Peer to Peer basically means live local mobile phone to camera access regardless of WiFi Internet.  However, you must be within a certain 10-20m close camera range.

Local LAN allows the authorised App user to alter camera settings, set Constant, Motion Detection or Scheduled recording and live view with audio. Our spy camera reading glasses supports an optional removable micro SD memory card up to 128GB. SD card camera recordings may be phone viewed, downloaded and/or saved to PC or mobile phone memory either locally or remotely. The memory card is very well hidden within the glasses arm.

Video and Audio recordings stored to the memory card can be downloaded and saved to mobile phone memory or the memory card removed with recordings replayed on either PC or MAC. Hidden Camera Surveillance provides it's customers only with a USB SD card reader. So there are various means of recording and selecting preferred recording settings.

• P2P mode (camera to phone direct)
• WiFi mode live viewing from anywhere in the world. 

If WiFi mode is selected, you must have have the router WiFi password for remote camera access. The App will prompt you to enter that password if remote access is desired.

P2P mode on the other hand doesn’t require a router or password; just a simple camera access code. So there's a fundamental differences between the two camera modes but our hidden camera spy glasses supports both. The glasses lens is clear so it looks real enough but with no magnification and very light weight.

Pictured below is the glasses arm.  When folded back the optional SD memory card slides into the cavity so it's very well hidden. When being worn and with the arm open, this effectively blocks the SD card completely.

How long does the battery last?
A question often asked so there are certain factors to take into account. If the camera is simply recording to the internal memory card, expect between 45-75 minutes on one full battery charge. If on the other hand the camera is being frequently switched on/off or wireless accessed, then yes this will use battery power faster. 

Surroundings, temperature, recording scene and camera settings all play a role in battery working duration so in some circumstances, the battery may last only 20 minutes or so before needing a recharge.  A camera battery recharge takes about 80 minutes if depleted. To achieve the longest battery life, avoid switching the camera on/off if possible and basically allow the camera to constantly record without wireless access. This isn't a camera fault it's just being realistic. Taking everything into account and depending on individual circumstances, our hidden spy camera reading glasses can also function whilst being charged but of course one wouldn't necessarily wear the glasses whilst charging. On the other hand, if the glasses were on charge somewhere, it's still a WiFi spy camera anyway you look at it. Another power option is to connect the WiFi spy glasses to an external battery powerbank which we offer as another longer term camera powering option.

Can others see my Camera online?
From an authorised user point view, don’t be concerned about other WiFi users being able to see the spy camera online, that won’t happen. Only those App authorised and password protected user/s may see the camera live in P2P mode and/or WiFi mode. The camera WiFi doesn't make any reference to any hidden camera being online but rather a series of meaningless numbers and letters which to any other WiFi person is just another neighbours WiFi.  

The spy glasses inner arm arm conceals the optional micro SD memory card up to 128GB capacity and it conceals a lightweight non removable miniature rechargeable lithium Ion battery.

Can I record what I see on a computer screen?
It's a question often asked but to put this into perspective, the simple answer yes and no. In terms of live streaming, the camera resolution is auto lowered to allow for a smoother stream. However, recording at a higher 1080P level means the recording is significantly higher than streaming. For that reason, often the best practice is record to the internal memory card, remove the memory card hen needed and review the HD recordings on a PC or MAC.  Now you are seeing the recording at it's highest recorded level.  Streaming will lower the resolution but the true recorded resolution is saved.  

There are other factors to take into consideration including the monitor size, the lettering size, monitor lighting, external lighting, head movement if being worn, distance from the monitor etc.  Consequently, there isn't a definitive answer as one size doesn't necessarily fit all. There will be circumstances where the monitor text and images can be read quite well and at other times difficult.

This is a frontal view of the glasses however, disregard the pinholes on either side of the lenses. The completely hidden camera is now located above the nose bridge. In this regard the glasses design will change slightly now and then to improve the overall experience.
