Hidden Camera Surveillance 7” colour AHD wireless monitor & camera is significantly better than most. Ideal for cars, buses, trucks, forklifts, agricultural vehicles, heavy machinery, tractors, trailers, caravans, semi-trailers, horse floats and so much more. When the vehicle ignition or accessories is switched on/off so too will the wireless reversing security camera kit.

AHD is double the resolution of standard 600TVL cameras and that alone makes this system special.  Please note HCS also offers Dual Split Screen and Quad view AHD Cabled and Wireless Reversing Camera Systems (some with recording) and with various monitor sizes ranging from 5-9”.  

This particular system includes our 7” LCD AHD 2.4Ghz wireless receiver monitor including a single wireless 12V AHD colour & IR reversing backup camera.  Wireless camera range is 200m + depending on obstacles between the camera and receiver. That’s not to say that obstacles prevent wireless transmission. In most circumstances the distance between the camera transmitter and receiver is minimal anyway.  The LCD Super HD monitor supports selectable resolutions from 720P, 960P and 1080P CVBS & AHD signals.

It’s important to know that not all cameras and monitors are the same, particularly when used in mobile situations.  Our 10G rated IP69K cameras and monitors are solid state meaning unlike others, they won’t fail due to constant mobile vibration, and we offer 12 months fault replacement warranty.

Is this reversing camera system easy to install?

Other than mounting a few brackets its very straight forward although you do need to connect the monitor to vehicle power.  In this regard yes DIY if confident otherwise any local auto electrician will install it with quality assurance. The camera is 12V powered and in this regard most auto electricians will use the vehicle tail light wire to power the camera or otherwise find suitable power to the camera.   We recommend using the services of an authorised auto electrician and accidental damage caused by an au authorised is not considered warranty.

Why are vehicle monitors different quality?

Our monitors are Ultra-High definition 1024 x 600 (not lower resolution 600 x 480 pixels) and there is a significant difference between the two.  The same applies to our cameras.  Most other analogue mobile cameras are IP69 and just 600 TV Lines whereas our cameras are a much higher grade IP69K rating and an amazing 1200TVL.  Does that make a difference? You bet it does.  

Is IP69K waterproof?

Products that carry the IP69K rating are ideal for facilities where hygiene and cleanliness are critical, as they are proven to be durable and resistant against water, chemicals, high pressure, and high temperatures associated with demanding cleaning and OH&S measures.  This camera is 10G shockproof and weatherproof but no submersible.

This 7” colour TFT LCD wireless vehicle monitor & camera reversing kit consists of an ultra-high definition colour LCD screen offering significantly higher visual resolution compared to others. There’s no point having an Ultra-High definition 1024 x 600 monitor if the camera/s are lower quality or not to the same monitor standard. The 2.4Ghz receiver LCD monitor connects to 9V-36V power.    

Hidden Camera Surveillance wireless monitor & rear view camera kit has voltage overload and reverse polarity protection to ensure the hardware isn’t damaged by fitting mistakes. The metal alloy U bracket (pictured) allows for the monitor to be dash or roof mounted whilst the bracket tilt allows for that perfect flush view.
