Instead of "seeing" movement like a human eye does, 3 PIR sensors (front and 2 sides) feels heat signatures. It looks for things that are warmer than the background, like a person or an animal.

4G SIM
Customers must supply their own pre-paid or plan 4G SIM card with credit top up when needed. A nano size SIM is required with Data, Text and voice enabled, same as any mobile phone SIM. A broadband only SIM is unsuitable.    

It's not using SIM data when recording. If live streaming and/or downloading recording it will use minimal data which can always be monitored. In terms of the optional Cloud backup service, each video file is cloud uploaded thus using data, unlike an SD card.  

The key is to initially order a prepaid SIM with temporary unlimited data or as much data deemded necessary. Depending on data usage over the next month, review the plan to something more accommodating and with less monthly or annual cost. 

Time Lapse Recording
This 4G Solar Security Camera supports Time-Lapse recording for research, landscape changes, project construction or for any other time lapse recording need. There are so many features to this 4G camera. No Power, WiFi, Internet or Professional installation needed. Easy to setup other than mounting in an advantgeous location.  Tree trunk mounting is not recommened as the solar panel should not be shaded. Supplied with a pivoting bracket and a tree or post mounting belt.
