See our WiFi Mini Night Light 1080P Spy Camera.  Plug it into a power point using our 5V USB adapter and from your mobile IOS phone (App doesn't support Android) view the pinhole lens camera discreetly from your phone. If you don't necessarily need remote WiFi access, it also supports P2P which is the same as WiFi except that the transmission is local from the camera to Iphone only.   

The multi coloured LED light can be either switched on or off manually from the remote control or from the App.  This is a motion activated or constantly recording hidden camera which records in 1080P HD quality with audio. SD card stored recordings can be replayed either locally or remotely. If App enabled, the authorised user (camera can be shared with others) may receive an app generated push alert the moment it detects motion.

Fully functional multi coloured night-light mains powered, this light does NOT have an internal battery backup it must be powered.  The night light may also be dimmed according to your liking.

Can this Mini LED Night Light see and record in total darkness?
Different from IR or Infra Red type camera, the LED produces sufficient light for the camera to record in 1080P HD colour day or night no matter the indoor lighting conditions.  The light itself is NOT motion triggered but when motion is detected, this will trigger the camera to silently and discreetly record video and in sync audio all time and date stamped.

Ideally suited to homes, offices, warehouses, sheds etc you name it. The light doesn’t necessarily have to be on for the camera to record. If on the other hand the surrounding area is dark and there is no other light then you decide whether to use the light function or some other means of illumination.  As mentioned the light can either be manually or remotely switched on or off and LED colour altered to your preference.   A very covert 1080P HD pinhole lens is built into the light including a powerful mini microphone.  

Do I need to remove the camera memory card to play recordings on my PC or MAC?
There’s no need to remove the SD card from the Clock Spy camera as all recordings can be remotely accessed through your free phone App.  Should you prefer to remove the SD card from the camera, simply slot the SD card into your PC (Windows or MAC) or use the supplied USB SD card reader. There are various AVI players available and mostly free such as VLC or QuickTime etc however for those with Windows PC, Windows Media Player (WMP) is also fine.  Save any desired recordings direct to PC or phone memory.   All recordings are time and date stamped for authenticity. 

How do I set the camera to record?
No need to manually set the camera recording time and date.  It will take the time and date from your phone and with each recording; the time and date will be auto video watermarked.

How do I set recording functions?
All camera functions are remotely set through your free phone App.   The recording quality, recording speed, recording duration, email or motion push alerts, scheduled recording, audio etc are all accessed from the App. 

What happens when the optional SD card is full?
There are basically two SD card options from which to choose. 

• Stop recording when the SD card is full
• Loop or Recycle Recording

STOP recording when full makes sense as any sensitive recording will not be auto overwritten in time.  Selecting LOOP or recycle recording over is different because when the SD card eventually becomes full, the earliest recordings will be deleted to make way for new recordings and it will do that time and again.  The larger the SD card (32-128GB) the longer the recording duration before overwriting. 

The camera SD card is optional and available at our online checkout.  Clearly the larger the SD card capacity the longer the recording duration.  If using your own SD card which is fine, please note the SD card must be class 10 or better and if the card has been used before and for any purpose, it must be FAT32 formatted before use with this device.  If on the other hand you order an SD card from HCS, we will bench test the camera with your card pre installed.  We will leave some video and audio testing on the card with some audio setup tuition or tips.  

The micro SD card is completely concealed behind a tiny flush mounted black lid. The pinhole camera and microphone are built into the actual mini light and can't be seen.

What size memory card do I need?
This camera supports up to 128GB SD card. Recording time will vary according to the resolution set and the card capacity. Recording will use about 20MB of memory per minute.

Other parameters to consider is the recording duration. In other words when motion is detected, how long would you like the camera to record?  1, 2 or 5 minutes perhaps? The recording duration has an impact on how fast memory is used, For that reason we recommend the camera be set to 1 minute motion detection duration (MD) rather than constant recording even though the camera supports both.

Pictured below is a close up photo of the USB power interface.  The USB is spring loaded and therefore recessed into the light when not required.  Also pictured is the USB extension lead and Australian USB power supply, all provided with each camera.

If after the 1, 3 or 5 minutes duration the camera is still detecting motion it will simply keep recording anyway until motion stops so you won’t miss anything in MD mode.   The other great feature of MD is searching recorded files, as each file is time and date stamped. 

What is scheduled recording?
This camera is smart and supports SCHEDULED recording.  This App feature basically means that you DON’T need to have the camera in permanent MD mode.  If you need to set MD recording from say 4.00pm to 1.00am, no problem it can do that too.  It’s all set from the App camera menu.
